WHY WE SUCCEED WHERE OTHERS HAVE FAILED


Inventory levels in ERP systems are notoriously inaccurate. Computed from registered transactions, in-store events affecting inventory such as theft, misplacement, obsolesence and registration errors, are not accounted for. To adjust the computed levels, employees do time-consuming inspections, counts and audits several times per year per product.
We choose a different approach. Instead of relying on inaccurate computations that are manually corrected, we use AI to make a much more accurate computation of the inventory availability. This minimizes the need for stock-taking. Remaining inspections are then optimized to make sure adjustments are made only when it makes business sense: when it leads to higher availability and when they are fast to perform.
The end result: more accurate data, higher on-shelf availability, and less time spent on manual inspections. And as a by-product: unprecedented intelligence to help improve in-store execution.
